Request A Review

Please note: I am not accepting books for review at this time.  I will resume accepting requests when I have cleared out my backlog.

Publishers, web sites, periodicals and companies who would like me to review a book, DVD or other product for you please send your request to sylvereapleanan(at)gmail.com. Movies, DVDs, and other products must have a book tie-in to be considered.  I cross-post to Amazon, Barnes&Noble, Goodreads, Shelfari and LibraryThing as time allows or upon request.

With the exception of guest posts, I personally read or view all items submitted for review. This means it may take up to six months for a review of your item to appear, depending on the size of my review stack.  I review newly released and back catalog products, so if something has been out for awhile, it won't affect whether or not I choose to review it. I'm also happy to participate in blog tours and giveaways. I review in the following genres:

Sci-fi/Fantasy/Paranormal
Romance/Romantic comedy
Psychological thrillers
Historical fiction
Young adult
Alternative lifestyles

I do not review in the following genres:

self-published
technical manuals
politics
Christian inspiration
comic books/graphic novels/manga
children's books

I will consider reviewing books, movies, and DVDs in genres not listed. Please submit a query to: sylvereapleanan(at)gmail.com.  I do not return reviewed items. 

As much as I would love to give everyone five laurels, if there's something I don't like about your product, I'll say so. Some people will like your product and others will hate it - that's life. However, I do my best to give a fair and balanced review.
