My name is Sylvere ap Leanan and this is one of my many creative endeavors.

I'm a freelance writer specializing in essays, informative articles, reviews, and fiction. I'm one of the contributing authors to Vampires In Their Own Words (Llewellyn 2007).

I've been interviewed for various news media and documentaries, such as ABC's 20/20, and I've done some speaking engagements, including appearing as an expert panelist at the American Criminal Justice Society's 2008 conference.

I hold a B.A. in English with an emphasis on Creative Writing. I'm married to my Beloved Spyder, am a mother of two, a pet-lover, and a UMKC alumnus. When I'm not chasing after two high-energy boys and higher energy Corgi-Australian Cattledog mix, or working on a writing project, I enjoy gardening, surfing the internet, watching movies, and listening to music. I don't read; I inhale books like air.
